Today is supposed to get up to 40 degrees. Holy cow. Yesterday, I explored the Northern part of the city, stopping at various cafes on the way beautifully situated by beautiful parts of the old wall that used to surround the city. I tried to visit the dance museum, but they had a private tour going on, so I was not able to go inside. The Tanz Museum is part of a square called Media Platz where there are about 8 giant buildings housing museums and libraries entirely devoted to media and the arts. After lunch, I went to the Koelner city museum which the entire exhibit was all about Koeln and it's history over the ages. They also had another exhibit honoring the 150th anniversary of the zoo, oh! how I love animals... Then I headed on down to the El-De House, which was the Gestapo headquarters during the war. What an interesting place, most of it was in German so I didn't understand a lot of what I was looking a
