Craigslist

As promised, here are some of my personal favorites of Deutsch Craigslist to date. I'm sure there will be more so I will try my best to keep editing this post.

3. "Part time (12 hours a week) Toilet Cleaner. To summarize, clean 10-20 toilets a day in a Hostel, keep the hallways clean, make beds, must speak a decent level of German or English, work 6-8 hours a day Weekends, all for the reasonable salary of 4 Euros per hour or free accommodation." ( accommodations for the whole week? or just the days you work? If so, where to Mon-Fri?? The other Hostel I work at illegally?)

2. "I have an emergency of a stupid nature: My name is Olaf, I live in Seattle, I don't speak German, I'm going to a party tonight and we are watching "The Guyver", it's one of Mark Hamill's films in his 'I'll do anything for a paycheck' phase. I thought it might be funny if we watched it in German, I can't find any German dubbing out there. Someone in Berlin, if you're sitting around reading this on a Saturday afternoon, you must be bored. Get some friends together, dub and record it, I'll lay it on to the film, we won't understand what your saying. I'd appreciate your seriousness, payment is at your discretion. Thank you, Olaf."

1. "Found: 450 Euros found near Kottbusser Tor. I am not sure this is the right place to advertise this but I found 450 Euros today, if you lost this please contact me at....The money was wrapped with a thin purple paper, and there was a letter and a die of red flesh too. I am scared and just want to get rid of it. So please if this was yours...." There seemed to be a bit of a language barrier so I am not entirely sure what they meant by a "die of red flesh" but perhaps, no, Craigslist is not the right place to advertise this.
