More Moran time

Colleen arrived in Berlin last Wednesday. I met her here in the Fall, she was studying German at the Goethe Institute and sadly went back to Seattle at the end of December. However, she loved Berlin so much she decided to come back this Spring for two weeks! I'm only here for one of her weeks, but I'm not complaining.

I will take some photos of her tomorrow at the Turkish Markt beside all the fruit and cheap fabrics. I hope there's some swans on the canal. I love the swans that swim the Kreuzberg canal.

On Wednesday, very early in the morning, I head for Frankfurt. My bus leaves Berlin at 7:30 in the morning and arrives at Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof at 3:50. What a long fahrt. I have a crossword book, a journal, an iPOD, and an Agatha Christie mystery, hopefully these will keep me occupied for the long journey. Caroline's going to pick me up and escort me to our Hostel (discount Sunday through Wednesday! 1 Euro off! Woo!) and then we're going to see Kidd Pivot's Lost Action. Not to mention some Vancouver people, Crystal Pite, Julie-Anne Saroyan, Yannick Mathon, and Rena Narumi. Whee.

Thursday, four hours on a train. A train to Paris. Oh my.
