Posing with my Gimp

Today I woke up at the ungodly hour of 5:30, brewed a cup of coffee, put my trousers on and hopped on Goldie Hawn to transport my butt on down to Tacheles Art House. It was chillier today than yesterday so my twenty digits froze pretty bad, but that's not the point of this story, I just have a tendency to get sidetracked.

Why did I do this? Well, I'm in a show for Simultaneon Productions. They are a film company based out of Wellington, New Zealand, a one Dylan Bakker is currently based here in Berlin while his business partner is back in the homeland. The spectacle we are in is part of the Fringe Festival in Wellington, we are improvising to music being performed live at the venue in New Zealand that is being sent over Skype. The footage captured is being projected live to the audience in attendance at the venue. You may be asking yourself "Why is it so early in the morning, Lina?" Well the answer to that question is; New Zealand is twelve hours ahead of Berlin, so when it is eight o'clock PM there, it is unfortunately eight o'clock AM here. Anyone who uses skype knows about making your dates with a pal half way around the world, one of the parties involved will almost always be morning tired and the other evening tired. But it is an incredible thing.

My character is called "Gang Evil". I am in a gang with my Vancouver pal Mirae Rosner, we've called ourselves "The Tough Bitches". She's the gang leader and I'm just evil. I have a head dress which is very reminiscent of the Gimp in Pulp Fiction. I don't know if you will be fortunate enough to see any photos because it shocks me so.... But maybe, just maybe.

I have two more shows, tomorrow and Thursday, then Dylan will treat us to breakfast and I'll get to wear my vintage dresses again.

This was my inspiration for today's scene. We had to make being in a gang look sexy and enticing to the main character and had to pose in front of the camera for about three minutes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BO85zSh_Wp0  I made the mistake of telling Mirae about the Gimp and she sang "Posing...Posing with my Gimp" all morning. Hilarious! Tomorrow, I get to act the jealous evil gang member as the main character gets initiated into our gang and then we make some plans to invade the father's plantation and ruin the crops.
